Got down to the Landcut about 6:45 Saturday, focused on the edge of the ICW. I threw some topwaters, plastics and did some sightcasting with shrimp. I have never had a day when the minor feeding period was so pronounced. For about an hour and half the bait and gamefish were up moving in great numbers but were nowhere to be found before or after. I hope y'all enjoy the video!

that first drum at the 9 minute mark was FEISTY!

was that a Sharkathon ruler I saw you pop out? LOL

IFA Kayak Tourney ruler, pretty nice free ruler but probably very similar...I don't know how many check it sticks I have lost over the years, so I just gave up LOL.

Looked like a fun, but probably hot morning, since it looks like there was little to no wind or water movement. I could see a friend's cabin in your video and it's amazing how much shrimp he can push up just around his cabin. I would think shrimp would do well there almost anytime.

I also saw more large blue crabs down there than I have seen all Summer up here close by, just a really productive area. It's one of the only areas I expect to catch a slam at when I go but this was my first trip since the freeze and seems to have taken a hit to the overall numbers.

If you don't mind me asking, what color is that soft plastic you're throwing around the 5-6 min mark? Nice video.
