Apparently, Beach Sinkholes are a 'thing'....

Came across this and wondered where all the sand went? There wasn't any shovel marks, or footprints around it, and the sand at the bottom looked just like the surface. The bottom went further, under the sand similar to a washout. The only thing was the dually tracks that either fell in it, or made it drop out. But it was a LARGE hole.



These are apparently an East Coast thing.

I have so many questions.

Whose foot is that? Point 'em out!

Are those coyote tracks? They look huge! Do they disappear at the sink hole or start from there?

Did you ever see the original Tremors movie?

Those would be my dog, Logan. He's an American Dingo, that pushes 80+ lbs!!

Those bulldozers pushing the sand back and forth into the water create quicksand, sinkholes, and birdbaths
