|
|
Anybody have any information about where I can find a good rod rack to mount in the bed of my silverado? I'm looking for something I can put in and take out quickly/easily, and don't want to mount anything permanently to the bed. I also don't have a tool box in the back, so can't mount anything to that. The one at the link below is awesome but I'd rather not pay $365. All help/ideas appreciated. Thanks.

Piece of 2x4 and put some pipe on it and then on the back put a couple clips. Slide over the front of the bed. That way it is removable. _________________ Fishing and Kayaking its a rough life but somebody has to do it. |

Whatever you do mount them straight and evenly. I can't stand seeing rod holders at different heights and angles.

I agree w/ rabbit. mount the rack at the front of the bed. If you do it at the back of the bed sand will coat your reels any time you head out to the beach _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

this is what I used to use, MJ may have pics of his as well, sorry I do not have anything close up. Easily mounts in and comes out, can be adjusted for a higher angle as well, many possibilities
