All I heard on the weather reports yesterday was that we were going to have Gale alerts today. Winds were going to be blowing 25 to 40. I went outside a couple times thinking about going out and the winds are blowing fairly strong and I figured I don't want to risk it. Finally about 1:30 I said the heck with it and went out for an hour or so. Got back in just before the north winds hit and the rains came. First cast in a spot I was in yesterday I bring in this 20-in trout which I released.
The bite was not a strong as it has been the last couple days. About 5 or 10 minutes later I get another bite and bring in an 18. Went back around and got a 21 1/2 and another 18. That was it for the day. Then the rains started coming down so I hustled my 5 minutes back home. |
