| Late morning I planned on heading over towards Padre Isles to fish the deep water of the canals and on my way there I got sidetracked. There's some deeper water closer to home that I stopped at. Wind was out of the North the little of it that there was and within the first 15 minutes I caught four trout between 17 and 20 inches. The wind shifted to the Southwest and the bite totally shut down. The next hour and 15 minutes I barely got a bite. |

When I stepped outside to go to work and noticed how still it was I was so sad driving in. A sunny day like this after a cold night I knew exactly where I wanted to be fishing at. _________________ Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. |

I've had some fun days with the wind out of the North, but not with the wind out of the West. |
