Studying my field guide in looks like a female Magnificent Frigatebird.

Not impossible, just improbable. They are a possibility during migration season here, just not that common. Good spot! Won't be long now 'til the white pelicans and the the sandhill cranes start showing up (ugh - not that I don't love them, I just don't love them AT MY JOB).
Anyways, good to know Mother Nature isn't entirely thrown off by this incredibly active tropical season. I think it's got the fish on edge, but the birds ain't buying it. _________________ All things will pass. Have a Blessed day. |
