I have a trip planed to fish San Antonio bay and Packery channel in the first week of Oct or the last week, which would be better? How long does it take to get back to normal after a storm like you had this week, any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Water should be down by then unless we get another storm. We can't always get chamber of commerce weather.

That will be up to the winds and mud flats near by your spot.

Water around the JFK is great, it's just really high still.

here's my Estes report beginning a day and a half after TS Beta landfall:
http://www.corpusfishing.com/messageboard/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=39456

Oct 3-5 shows neek tides, which can be great if you're fishing early on the steep tide drops

Oct 23-25 shows much better tides and movement

If I was going to pick a week, though, it would be as close to the 16th and new moon as possible, for the simple rule that fish that can't see in the dark are hungrier in the daytime.
