Looking for a used kayak similar to a Malibu pro explorer 2 or a bigfish 120.

I imagine craigslist is choked with them.
TKF is a good place to check classifieds for well-outfitted boats, but most boats listed there will be in greater Houston.

TG Canoe & Kayak on the east side of San Marcos always has a good inventory of consignment boats. Duane there has been running a livery and really well-stocked kayak shop for 30 years - he even used to repair kayaks before his insurance stopped that.
He used to post an inventory of used boats, but right now, all I can find are closeouts and demos:

ps - the Current Designs Tailfin with rudder looks like a steal

I bought the intext Explorer and the intext Excursion Pro from here at the same time. In my opinion the Excursion Pro is worth the extra $135. The material the Excursion is made of a much heavier rubberized textile not just plastic like the Explorer. Both paddle well and I'm confident that either kayak will serve you just fine for occasional recreation. For long term durability and impression of fit and finish the Excursion is just much nicer.
I haven't owned a kayak before but I've paddled a few around and I've paddled hundreds of miles in a canoe. These Both kayaks track well and respond quickly to your paddling.
