Marine Mammal Stranding Network get a call from a fisherman reporting a manatee approx. 1.0 mile southwest of Sargent swing bridge in the ICW near the south shoreline.
Not completely unheard of here, but still a cool thing to see in person. |

| The Mrs. and I were getting onto a guide's boat in Marathon, FL when one swam up to the surface with it's mouth open and the guide said it was looking for freshwater, he then said turn on that hose on the dock. We turned it on and she hand-watered a manatee. Great memory I will never forget. |
