Finger Mullet

She asked to go with me to Port A since we haven't been since, well you know.
Turned out to be not a bad day. She tried hard but didn't catch anything. I landed a 37" red and a 38" Jack and one small Spanish. I netted some mullet and put one out on the bottom while I continued to cast. A big Jack ran up next to the rocks then my mullet takes off. By the time I got the rod picked up he was gone. Best I can tell is a school came by and when one picked up the mullet another hit at my weight, tied above the leader, and cut me off. Saw a number of other Jacks caught. All on the Surf side with 4 oz silver spoon.
Inlet side was way crazy with wind n waves.
Only one of the countless reasons I love that woman.
