| Hit the surf this morning about 8 and definitely wasn't what I was expecting. Waves breaking out as far as you can see probably four to six feet. driving was horrible had to be right up against the dunes in a soft squishy sand. got down as far as the bowl and fished while Mary went for a hike up in the dunes and took pictures. Got two hardheads and came home. BTW, the parking lot at Bob Hall is packed |

By 4 pm today, it was running up to the dunes .... again..... Everybody was parked by the duneline, and it was a mad dash to leave when a few rouge waves washed up a little too far.  |

| I felt the brunt of one of those rogue waves today. Was about knee-deep, cast my rod out and walking back when wave hit me in the back of the knee almost knocked me down. And then all of a sudden the water was gone for about 15 yards. Imagine if it knocked me down it might have pulled me right out. Little scary |
