Looking for a report of conditions at the beach. Wanting to fishing tomorrow morning Packery Jetty or beach area around there. Seeing how the driving is to these locations etc. Any help would be greatly appreicated.

The beach driving is pretty good. I had didn't have any luck in the surf. Plenty of mullet in the second gut. The weed made it tough fishing though. _________________ Longhorn |

The surf or Packery jetties will be probably be better that the bays if your looking for trout. Theres so much fresh water in the bay system right now it will probably take 6 or 8 good tides to reintroduce enough salinity to get the fish back on a good pattern.
Fished 4 hours at the CCNAS, complete skunk, 1 bite on a long rod w/ the one and only bait size mullet I could net. Very high tide maybe a foot over normal. Water clarity was about 10-14 inches. |
