My softball buddy Steve went out with three of his friends in Port Bay yesterday and they each got limits of trout. 2 Other neighbors on my canal went out last 3 days and also limited out on trout. Sounds like the trout bite is on pretty strong.

Cool. I hope to get some too but first I need to put a deer in the freezer. Mr. Green

Those are some FAT trout, too! This is why I hate being landlocked. I don't want to open a new loan on a boat though at least until I pay off my student loans, get a newer truck, and possibly until I move into a house too. Maybe a kayak is a worthy investment? Priorities, priorities. Rolling Eyes

But with all the customization I see everyone put on theirs, it seems like those cost as much (or more) than the yak itself.

Awesome catch! Those are beautiful looking trouts. Im planning on going out on the weekend for some fishing. Im hoping to try on my new acme kastmaster and see if it will increase my fishing luck.
