Went up to Abiquiu lake this morning with Mary to take part in the count of bald eagles. They weren't very cooperative. We only saw three. After the count we went to the Chama river down below the dam and picked up several nice rainbows. Fun day.
This is Mary observing an eagle in flight

I actually started out with gloves on. Right after this picture I took my jacket off and just fished in my sweatshirt. It actually felt warm at 38 degrees.
Fish today in 34 degrees and caught another half dozen of these using a copper beadhead nymph. Marked the distance from my door to the hole I was
catching these fish in today and it was 16.2 Miles

On the way back from playing pickleball and grocery shopping again I caught and released three more of these.
