Hanging out with my kids in Houston for Christmas week and thinking about checking out some public hunting land.
Can anybody give me any pointers so I am not going in totally blind?
Is any area especially better than another for a first-timer?
Bow hunting.
Pigs or deer.
Appreciate any guidance you may be able to offer.
Feel free to text me if you do not want to tell the world.
361-445-5456.
Thank you

Buy the Texas Annual Public Hunting Permit. I suggest you buy it at the TP&W Regional office. It will give you all the information and when you need to put your name in to hunt a particular public land for deer. It's a great resource. Cost is $49. Well worth it. Good luck and good hunting. |
