I feel I should know this but I dont so going to the 2cool database for the answer.
Had this questions asked to me earlier and for the life of me cant figure it out. What are the velcro loops for on fishing shirts? This is the one up towards the shoulder with the columbia or magellan name tag on it.
Also what are the smaller loops for on the side of the pockets? I think they are to attach tools and stuff to but not sure.
Anyone know good url where to buy?

If your shirt is like mine you have a fixed cloth loop to right of your buttons at waist level. You should have a Velcro flap above your left chest pocket. That flap is about two inches long and is flat on the shirt.
It is a rod holder for your fly rod.
Place the rod butt in fixed loop and Velcro the rod shaft under the flap.
Now your hands are free to retie while standing in the river.
Now you know the rest of the story. |

I like the shirts that have the button flap for holding up your rolled-up sleeves.
