There were two bodies found buried in the dunes south of Bob Hall Pier earlier this week. It is believed they may be the missing couple. Also their travel trailer was missing and presumably seen crossing the border into Mexico. Haven't heard anything on the local news for the past couple days.

Think I will start packing when I go surf fishing down there.

Yesterday, about a mile or so south of the Bowl, there is a brand new cross/flower/RIP setup. I imagine this is for the couple that went missing.

The local news reported that it was a shallow grave, disturbed by wildlife, that lead to it's discovery. I'm by that way OFTEN..... Sad stuff, indeed.

I googled missing couple in Corpus Christi to find out what you were referencing and it sounds like the authorities probably know what the guy who drove their truck into Mexico looks like. So sad, some innocent people living their life in a responsible manner and to have it all end this way. Sad

Prayers going out to the family. If they crossed the border how could you possibly get by with a stolen R.V. and truck?

Cold plate it.
Criminals steal plates all the time to use on stolen vehicles.
The truck was probably already in Mexico before anyone knew the couple was missing.

Prayers for the victims family.

From what I read online, the truck was only mentioned as crossing the border. I would imagine the trailer was dumped somewhere between the murder site and the border.

The story has gone national to a certain extent, All the stories describe the location as the middle of nowhere and desolate. Practially another planet. They get all upset when I tell them it's 20 minutes from Whataburger and that you can walk to Bob Hall pier. Rolling Eyes

Caught lots of fish in my time down there. Good idea to be armed while camping along that beach. Too bad as it seems nowhere in our world is safe anymore. Sorry that this happened in our state after that couple had traveled all across our country without incident.

SBH, all the way to the 15 MM. I know, I know, can't carry on NSS, but do because of the foot traffic I've seen in the past
