I voted for Port A, because I have gigged there quite a bit and can recall one two hour walk where I gigged 26 and one was right at 27 inches. The 27 inch flounder made a meal for 4 adults!

best ever for me is Cedar Bayou - fly fishing.
At the bay end, Panther Lake, got a warm day 24" on a fly rod from a sand hole in the grass.
One day catching specs in the bayou close to the surf, we saw a guy across the bayou fight one for more than an hour - we all had (10 spec) limits before he landed it - when he brought it in, it would have draped a coffee table.
On a December day in a wide spot close to the surf, I caught 40 on consecutive casts, slowly dragging a whistler fly on the bare sand using a sinking line. Could have caught more, but it was cold and a long boat ride home.

When you say Sabine, I think of Kieth lake. When the migration is on, the highway bridge is tops. Only influx/drainage to the lake.
