Mary and I got to the surf this morning about 8:30. Water was a lot rougher than I thought it would be plus there was only one lane that can be traveled along the dune line. Watercolor wasn't bad. Fished at the South sticks and nothing but hard headsband whiting. Several times I had my line hit and my rod bend over in half only to straighten up and nothing on the other end. Twice I brought it in and my 150 lb leader was bitten in half.

a brave maneuver with yesterday's low and today's beating cold front.
Nice photo.
Tomorrow should be a nice clear day with the high pressure coming on, and probably a water level drop everywhere.

I know. When my wife showed it to me I told her I just had to post it. Too bad there wasn't a big fish in it to really make the day
