This is Emilio Martinez from McAllen he was kayaking at Mustang Island Friday as the front was coming in. He capsized a couple of times and was able to get back up in but the third time the kayak got away and he swam safely back to shore. On Saturday word came out on Facebook that a kayak had been found over 70 miles away some 50 miles down the National Seashore I was told. The good news is Emilio's $3000 kayak was returned to him by some honest, caring fishermen(Cody Foster and friends) who brought it to the Sharkathon Weigh In Sunday.

Good to know there are still decent honest people around, but wouldn't expect anything else from fellow Texans. _________________ Go hard or don't go! |

| I know he was more than happy to get his baby back! Stealths are not "value priced" kayaks, but once you get used to the speed it's tough to use anything else offshore. In less than 6 months I paddled mine 575 miles! |
