You mentioned that a Golden Croaker 'run'ish was on, and I'm all for it. Miss those days from my childhood.
The other day in the fish case at the Bluff HEB, I did a double-take and sure enough they had some headed & gutted croakers, a little bigger that the size you were saying were being caught now!  Sadly, they were imported from Venezuela ....  But it still made me stop and look! |
