My friend texted me last night that USCG suspects the oil wasn't spilled but dumped, still investigating according to the Coastie he talked to. I know from 30 yrs. as a firefighter that a little hydrocarbon spilled can look like a whole lot more than what it actually is, especially in water. Another retired firefighter and myself came into the harbor last Tuesday evening and saw some guys changing oil on their triple outboard motor boat, but they were collecting it in buckets. Unfortunately I did not pay enough attention to truck or boat, just thought they were some guys working on their boat. I wonder????

Ok, just texted my fishin buddy and he said a Dodge 2500 possibly silver and about a 35 to 40 ft. boat white with black lettering on the side with trip Yamahammers, possibly 300's, ain't saying they did it, could be a coincidence. I was focused on getting the trailer backed in and he had time to watch them. He didn't see them doing anything other than working on the motors. It is odd though that the ramps were closed the next am due to an oil "spill". Already filed a report with the GLO, who was cleaning up the spill, don't know how much good it will do. Just irritates the water out of me that someone would do that intentionally, if that was the case.

Wow, haven't even built the VLCC yet and already they're having spill and dumping issues. Oy!
