Hit the water for a couple hours this morning before going to play pickleball. Not much happened as far as a bite goes. coming back in decided to drift between 3 and 2 minute honey holes and picked up 1 15 and 1/2 inch trout. Few minutes later I hooked another trout and as I'm bringing it in I see that there was a bigger one following right behind it and almost biting its tail. I reach down and grab my landing net that was right next to me and I was able to scoop up to loose fish and swing my other one in the boat. Two fish one hook. This is the netted fish that went about 17

I've never heard of anyone else experiencing this! Great show Zia!
After thinking about this I began to wonder if there is a record for hand netting an unhooked speck?
