Are T8 LED tubes in the glass better than frosted T8 LED tubes? What if these tubes break accidentally?

Plastic can resist heat and temperature much better than glass material.

-->Almost all T8 LED bulbs are now plastic<--

A clear bulb has a better lumens than the frosted one. A frosted bulb, on the other hand, reduces glare and throws a more even light.
