Good report. We saw you guys heading back north, think we were somewhere in the mid 20'S, hadn't back to y-pass to ride the storm out. But we did get 2 pomps on the surf. _________________ Fish and Hunt Baby.... so tight lines and clear scopes. |

Good deal. Did the water go to the dunes this morning? _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

When we were driving off the beach we saw numerous people (on the north end of course) just setting up their giant square multiroom parachutes, I mean tents. Also, Lots of canopies with large amounts of stuff under them that I assume were going to be left throughout the night.
I wonder how they faired when the storm blew in? Do any of these people even look at the weather forecast? |

We warned several that the water could and probably would go to the dunes and wondered the same thing - Do they ever look at the weather forecasts? _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

| That sounded like a blast. Mary and I were going to head down and check out the new Yarborough road but the water is already coming up pretty high and everything was soft and we didn't want to risk it. Only made it to the five. Sat there and drank 7K IPA and blue moons and caught a bunch of Whiting in brown water. |

7K = 7,000!!!!! Man, that's a lot of Beers
I'm sure Ranger Rick was watching you like that blue heron that watches over your by-catch!
(But seriously, Santa Fe Brewing does some quality beers. I'm especially fond of their Java Stout - Not too sweet, not too bitter chocolaty).

Santa Fe at 7000 feet above sea level there for the 7K. Santa Fe must have risen 10 ft since I was in college because back then all the sign said 6990 elevation . Awesome beer. Mark at HEB has been getting it for me and he keeps it in the back.
Back to the original topic though, I would have loved to have seen that shark come up and grab that Jack. |
