I came across this podcast the other day and some of you might also enjoy it. The story about the golden croaker and its possible connection to the winter surf trout fishing was interesting. The evidence for 8 pound golden croaker in Native American middens and the smaller body size in todays golden croaker was fascinating. Suffice it to say that the two pound croaker I caught on Sunday went back in the drink after hearing this podcast.

I got a new phone a couple weeks ago and was cleaning out my contacts.
