While fishing along the ICW this afternoon, I saw a floating cabin under tow by 3 game warden boats. One was escorting, and one was on either side of the cabin pushing/towing it north towards the JFK bridge. Never seen that before.

No fish for me...one hardhead for friend....slow fishing, saw no real bait nor working birds, even tried along Packery channel.....but a beautiful day.

There is an article in a recent CCA publication stating CCA has donated funds to rehab the TXP&WL floating cabin on Baffin, so what you saw might have been the referenced cabin being taken in for the rehab.

Know what you're talking about Nita with the lack of fish. The last two times I was out for two hour fishing trips each resulted in a zero keeper fish. And on those trips only caught between 10 and 12 undersized trout as well. Don't know why the fishing up this end is been so slow lately

Zia, that does make me feel a little better.....although right now I'd be thrilled to catch even one undersized throwback. Smile
