Between Aransas Pass and Port A, not counting Conn Brown or Port A harbor, what available boat launches are there?

Can a person still launch just outside of Port A in shrimp channel where they had large, offshore fishing boat docked several years ago? I am not sure if it is till there.

It has been several years since going through there.

Thank you for help.

Are you talking about where the marina was and Offshore Adventures was parked on 361 Causeway?

May check Fin and Feather to see if the ramp is still open. If it is you can go under the bridge to get where you are going

Tyler, I believe that is the one. It used to be crabman. Can you still launch there?[/i]

I believe Fin & Feather's ramp is still open, though there may be some debris in the water to dodge there. I was there ~2 months ago and saw some fellas trying to launch, but they were very carefully scoping out the water all around the ramp. Still a lot of Harvey caca in those waters, just be careful.

Also, don't know what kind of boat you have, but if it's a flat bottom you can probably launch anywhere along the causeway to the ferry. I've seen several people launch from the beaches both sides. Wouldn't attempt it with any other hull, though. (DISCLAIMER: I'm not sure about the legality of that though. That may be considered part of the "no motor" grass protection zones.)

There's a public ramp we use at the end of Ransom Rd. in Aransas that's just a hop and a skip from Shrimpboat. I can run by Crabman today if you're still wondering about it. Seems like it was down though.
