Caught the 4pm boat for an overnight trip. Surf dirty waves breaking over jetty, couldn't see any bait but was able to cast up some mullet for our midnight break. Was able to find trout and redfish in the surf after dark we moved to our night spot. Had a pretty good trip caught trout from 16"-28", redfish 17"-40", ladyfish, gafftop, and smacks. Scott caught a big snook at 32", I hooked up on tarpon in the 5' range fishing for flounder one tail walk and shook it head and returned my hook. Ended up keeping a few trout 20"-23" released the rest. We'll be back for vacation soon hopefully the fishing will pick up. Tight Lines

Wow! Nice report and a piercing too. What a great trip considering the weather prospects too.

Guys, look closely. The hook is hanging on a pinkish looking bracelet. So, no ouch.

And, yes, another excellent fish catching report!

Yikes! But you were smiling. Thanks for clearing this up for me. And, glad you were able to continue your fishing...
