From what I'm able to determine from reading the referenced weather site it looks like CC has received about 25 inches of rain over the past three days? If that is anywhere near being correct, this storm coming over the Gulf could cause some real problems, or does it just run off into the bays?

Intellicast weekly precip shows Corpus received 4-8 inches, with area around Palacios receiving 8-12, and just one tiny patch (around Palacios) receiving 12-16"

I had just under 8 on the southside and I think Shorty reported a similar amount. Missing Ironman's official Bluff total!

Wow, that ought to help give the Laguna a little flushing and decrease the salinity levels, Both of which should be good things in the big picture. 👍

they should be looking at the acid gasses China and Malaysia manufacturing pumps into the air and our oceans - anything else is a distraction from the real problem.
We scrub almost all of our acid gasses and turn them into solids.

Corpus is surrounded by a good bit of somewhat sandy soils and silts with decent infiltration rates. 8-11" ...Probably soaked in a good bit with some run off. Not enough to really do much yet. But it might have set up the next storm to have some substantial run off if it continues the predicted path. Invest 95L over the Yukatan and heading toward south Texas. I'd keep fishing as you normally do for now.

I just put up 3 rain gauges last night that my wife ordered. I am a little bit excited about it! How old am I...? Anyway Im out next to old San Patricio. The rain I get will be coming down the Nueces river to flush yall out. We should all send in how much rain we get when this tropical thing goes through. And there is a second tropical storm/hurricane on its way.
