A longtime lurker emailed me last week about a shark bite that happened on PINS the night of the 8th in waist deep water. The young man got 12 stitches. It's sure not unheard of. I remember two boys getting bit at the 7mm ten or more years ago and it was never reported.

Got tapped at the knee twice as a boy and still go to PINS each month to two weeks. I could see mine - blacktip - but I doubt they suffered much different outcome.

I know of a couple a few years back as well that I don't think ever made it to the main stream media. One was near Bobhall. Just like everything else in the world, just cause it ain't on the internet don't mean it ain't happening.

"The night...in waist deep water" says it all. We have bulls, tigers, and all of the above and extra here. 12 stitches really aint bad. Says it was a small shark and.or just taking a test sample.

No offense to the boy/girl and or family. But really put some thought into your report before you complain. It is THEIR world, not ours. Respect the sea any time you choose to enter it, PARTICULARLY AT NIGHT.

P.S. - I tried to compare what the moon phases were then, not much difference from waning to waxing. I have just as much a chance of getting bit if I went out tonight...

Tyler do you have their info? I will pay them a visit with flowers and more if u do.

The msm only shows what fits their agenda and unfortunately living shark attacks dont do it. That's why you dont know about the ramper in Seattle that stole an airplane and dove it into the ocean near Puget Sound, or why the convert Muslim training terrorist children in New Mexico hasn't even crossed your sights.

P.S. - They're already watching me. But I'm stable. Come and take it, though. That's why I'm not afraid. They aren😊t even taking the weed from WA, Co, & CA though. Laughing Laughing Laughing

I was attacked by a hammerhead pup once. Maybe 10" long. Didn't have a big enough mouth to take a bite but he hit my leg a good dozen times so I'll give him points for persistence. Wink

Reminded me of Foghorn Leghorn and that little chicken hawk. Giggles...

I saw the original post for the bit that happened recently on PINS.
Here is one that happened recently towards Galveston. Makes that one on PINS look like a mosquito bite.

"What is the medical procedure for "shark gumming"?" Have your girlfriend pee on it.
