Played softball Monday and Wednesday, gave private volleyball lessons Tuesday and Thursday, refereed 3 hours of volleyball on Friday and 4 hours today. And when I wasn't doing that I was doing much needed repairs around the house. After getting back from VB today I had a sandwich and beer and hit the water. Didn't matter if I caught anything just needed some me time. Fished around Pita and caught a gazillion small trout and perch. Did catch some keepers also. A 22" drum, 2 trout and this 24" red. Disappointed however that the red did not have a CCA tag.

Well done Zia. We pulled a few drifts for a couple hours until sunset where the kite surfers (or wind surfers or whatever they are) tend to frolic and only caught a dink trout. Cool

Oh and as a PSA the outlaw ramp near Valero in the Bluff has a bunch of telephone poles strategically resting at the waterline. And the dumpster is gone and there are a bunch of towing enforced signs posted. Maybe something is going to happen there. It

When those kiteboarders are in there, especially as thick as they were yesterday evening, might as well just move someplace else. They stir things up pretty good when they're going through there. They look like they're having fun though. Saw one of them jump over that bulkhead on the north side of the channel leaving out of Bluff Landing. Looked pretty awesome

Went out again today after lunch and caught four trout. This one is the smallest of the four I caught and it went 20 in. Couldn't fish my honey hole. there was a boat with three fishermen in it that was working it over real strong.
