I have a 19' skiff and want to start exploring CC bay. Seems like there is tons of info on the laguna across blogs, youtube, forums, etc, but I can't seem to find much info on CC bay.
Anyone want to give some beginners advice on where to go? Any safety things to be aware? (Wind/tides to watch?, random hard objects just below the water?)
Any platforms or underwater structures that are worth the trip? Seems like there is loads of different structure to fish, and I never hear of people trying it.. Im originally from MN, and thats the #1 thing is finding the structure in lakes. |

| Where do you want to launch from? Running any distance across the bay is a pain in the rear. I usually put in on the NAS and fish the gas wells along the intracoastal. |

| Father in Law said back in the early 80's, he and his dad used to put in a jon boat at the T heads and fish a reef down the way a bit. Said they always caught fish and a buzz. |

I keep hearing that term. Sometimes people are referring to bob hall. And other times I know that cant be what they are referring to.
Enlighten me please. _________________ Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might. (Fishing is one of those things ) |

Vern, the t-heads are down on corpus bay, on the water front, boat slips, boat launches, restaurants, etc. _________________ Don - permanent prescription of salt water therapy. |

The only thing i hear called a T-Head - is what Nick calls the T on bhp. We called them - years ago, the Ts as in 2nd T and 3rd T - back when there were more than one on bhp. _________________ Don - permanent prescription of salt water therapy. |
