I had never heard of them until my friend on facebook posted a large commercial version they used on the girlfriend's family ranch. Brisket and ribs in an hour! It would be a miracle.

Here's an indoor smaller version

Bro in law bought one of these. I think he's crazy to spend that kind of money just to smoke some meat. Called a cajun express propane smoker pressure cooker.

I bought the Cajun Express Smoker about 2/3 years ago after owning every other conceivable smoker.
Took about 5 years to pull the plug.
Got tired of tending...........early mornings, late nights, etc.
50 minutes whole chicken
2 hour brisket
4 hour pork shoulder
I got the CES-6 paid cash at a local propane joint and paid $900.00 plus tax.
Roughly 14 hours on 20 lbs bottle.
No smoke ring per si, but all other aspects spot on, set it at 350F and go do something else.
Have not looked back.
My 2 cents are over.

Rudy and Rodbreaker smell my finger. Razz

If i'm gonna spend that kind of money on Q i'll just go to the local Q joint and buy mine. Cooking time chicken - none, brisquet-none, pork shoulder -none, propane cost - none, smoke ring - yes and perfectly on point, tending late night early morning - none. Buy my Q, go home and eat it and then do something else. Only look back when I go get some Q.
