Is wade fishing along Laguna Shores any good? Boat is being held hostage in the shop for awhile and I'd like to get in the water and do some wading. Just curious if any of ya'll do any good along that route.

| I used to wade that all the time before my boat. Lots of times I still drift up in that area with my boat. |

It is pretty decent.
You can generally sort through enough dinks to catch a keeper or two.
Despite the nearly 20 mph wind today, the water is clear.
Unfortunately, there is so much floating grass I could not manage a single cast that did not choke with grass in the first 5ft of retrieve.
Sunday morning is supposed to be manageable winds.
Go early and use topwaters until they are no longer productive, then switch to shrimp imitators. Lightweight ones you can fish slowly with occasional twitches.
Trout Support Weed Walkers are about the only thing weedless enough some days, but you will not catch as many of the smaller trout. You decide if that is good or bad.
