Caught the four boat over windy as forecast, water was still trout green in the channel and surf. We split up and did recon once someone found the fish we would call each other. We were able to cast up some pony mullet and caught some skippies for later in the night. Trout bite was pretty good with quality fish. Around midnight we set up to soak some baits and take a break. We CPR some over size reds 32-46", one Atlantic Sharpnose and a big gaftop. All keeper fish were caught on plastics and hard baits. Around two in the morning Scott had spotted a baby rattler setting out across the channel which was cool had a jetty bandit (Raccoon) steal a skip jack we had out for bait lol. We ended up with 14 trout two reds and one flounder, caught the seven back and called it a day. Fun trip but it wore me out. Tight Lines

Hard to beat fresh flounder, pan fried in butter with lemon pepper & chupacabra.

Wow no wonder you slept for so long the next day! Thanks for the report. That looked like a big fat surf trout.

We did move a lot, caught trout in the surf and channel. Only two trout were just under the rest were nice healthy ones from 18-26".
