I thought I had it tough in Corpus trying to keep squirrels Etc out of my bird feeders. My son up in New Mexico had a little different problem.

And then a few blocks away this mama brown bear and her 2 cubs up in this tree. They were there for at least 4 hours it was noted

Very ironic that this subject presents itself.... Yesterday evening I went in the kitchen for something and looked out the window over the sink. We have a few feeders and two bird baths about 15 yards from said window. There was an adult Red Fox IN the larger bird bath!!! Shocked

I called for my wife to come see, but as always, she drug her feet. Before she got there, the fox jumped down and milled around the garden a little, then headed back to the woody/junky lot next door. Cool

I got sick of feeding the cutter ants, so I haven't had seed in my bird feeders in a couple of years. Sad too, cause I loved drawing in the migrants during a fall-out.
