Fellow fisherman and friend and board member DMAC Darrel passed away last night from heart surgery complications. I will miss him very much. Ill get back to ya with more details soon. Let us not mourn his death but celebrate his life exactly what he would want. Cheers Darrel! Save me a good seat.

These pics are a few months before either of us had open heart surgery me id December him in Febuary.

I think Darrel has been out once since his surgery in February. We were talking about this and that and going boat riding if not fishing. I was going to mow his yard the day before yesterday and he called it off because he was not feeling well. Yesterday we were texting his last text was Feeling nauseous get back to ya. Ill post some pics later.

Terrible news...

I have had three good friends pass away much too early. The thing to take away from this is to enjoy today because tomorrow may not come.

Wow, so sorry to hear that. Darrell was a hoot to fish with and such great guy with great character. I was looking forward to fishing with him again this year. May he be slaying the fish with the Man upstairs. He will be missed.

I only met this man once at a fish fry at Stan's house, but he was super nice to me and my wife. We will definitely be praying for his family, and those affected by his passing.
