I went out yesterday to renew my annual pass, fully expecting it to have doubled, like the press release from a few months ago said.

Much to my pleasant surprise, it was still the standard $20 per vehicle! Then I read in a paper this morning that the Interior Dept. went back on all the huge fee increases for all their National Parks due to massive complaints during the Public Comment period. [See, those things do work occasionally Wink ]
