The biggest trout Billy Sandifer caught while I had the pleasure of fishing with him. 1/04/2004 9lbs plus released to fight another day. When he first dragged it up on the beach I thought it was a redfish. He caught it right in front of where his friend Decker's ashes are and oddly enough where Ralph Wade's ashes would later be scattered - at the big green dune near the 26 mile mark.

Note the 801 51m Mirrolure!

This is one of several close to 8 I caught fishing with Billy. Boy am I going to miss those trips down the beach with him.

He's the one who's still 12 years younger than you! Very Happy

It's odd to think that in that picture Billy was two years younger than I am now! Wow time goes fast.

He will be missed for sure! Some of the best surf information that was ever written and he contributed to all of us and the rest of the beach community by being a true leader.
