Fish from about 9 to 12. First drift by the two-minute honeyhole Third cast get a 22in red fish. Tried several other areas with not much luck including where my neighbor just caught at 26 and a half inch trout. Looked around for some decent water and picked up and found a color change. Picked up seven or eight keeper size trout. Came back to an area close to where I caught the red fish and was for a slam and I was successful. I fished the bottom with fishbites and at first it was just a couple hard heads and then I bring in a 24in drum. Didn't even think about taking pictures. Sorry. When I cleaned all the fish trout had shrimp and small crab in it and the drum and redfish were just loaded with small crabs. Fly fisherman crab patterns sounds like it might be killer.
By the way, all the trout and reds are caught on red and white shrimp tails. I found some in my box that I got years ago at Academy's 20 for a dollar worm bar. |

Another good showing, Zia. Way to go. _________________ "I do hunt and I do fish and I do not apologize to anyone that I hunt and fish." - Norman Schwarzkopf |
