Never fished Allstar BGSW1509-2 custom surf rod. The 2pc 1pc blank I believe was designed by Nick at Breakaway and built to his specs. This is the ultimate heaver and legendary on the east coast. This blank went out of production around 2004 (I think) when Allstar stopped surf rod production. 13'-2" total length uncut, 15-60lb test, 5-12oz. This rod is a beast and capable of serious casts with "8 & bait". Rasta wrap, tiger wrap on the reinforced ferrule, shark tooth inlays, Fuji graphite seat and Fuji alconite guides, X-flock shrink wrap on butt and grip. 30" butt to reel seat. This is a genuine Allstar blank that has never been fished. I had the blank in storage for years and finally built it a couple years ago but never fished it. You cannot get these blanks anywhere!
Penn 535GS reel is mounted on it. Reel is used but in decent shape with good 20lb mono and 50lb shock leader.
