While I have not had the pleasure of meeting you face to face, I am very happy to hear you got through this. Not being critical, but your signature line could have something to do with this. Maybe we all should change to "like mine grilled". Hang tough - see you on the sand.

^Great advice Donnie! My Dad had the same operation years ago and he refused to take his meds, or change his diet, because there was "nothing wrong" with him. However, he did walk religiously. He lasted about five years thereafter.  |

Tinman just had major heart surgery and some people can't wait to crank up their "I know better" lecturing and pontificating. Very rude!! Give it a break, shut it down and let the guy recoup without being harassed. 
Tinman I'm with you. Just get better right now and worry about that other crap later. I have a feeling that Deb will deal with those issues without any help from the peanut gallery.

The 2 surgeons said it was more family genetics. As my father died the day I was born of a massive heart attack and my mom had bypass.

Silverman is my cardiologist and Morales is my surgeon. Everyone says he is the best. Lets hope so. He does heart work on babies still inside of mommy.

Yes! Kelle said Morales is the best and mentioned the pediatric prowess so with a big heart like yours it was easy!
So glad to see you on the mend. No lectures here my friend I have been on high BP meds and Lipitor since I was 35 and that's when I was 195lbs. Genetics are a bitch!
