Spent a couple weeks post-Harvey running back and forth doing hurricane relief in Rockport, Port Aransas, Aransas Pass, and Lamar. It was very exhausting but something I felt I had to put first before the fishing scene. Skip ahead, it was time to hit the sand and as expected, we were welcomed to chaos on nearly every trip. From 8' toad bulls to large jacks, the whole food chain was present and in full force.

The time is now for surf fishing folks! Trips are fun for everyone from the most serious of anglers to families with young eager kids with the thirst for adventure! I really do enjoy getting young kids on giant unforgettable fish, and at the same time educating them about the fishery and the importance of conservation.

Get your trip booked now for the killer fall run that is just beginning! Some spots are still available for Oct-Dec, and some weekdays are still left in Oct. I do book up in advance so get in contact soon.

What are you catching those jacks on? Cut bait? Lures?

Those are just about my favorite fish to catch.
