| Don't know about ICW or backyard, but would strongly recommend NOT boating in the Padre Isles canals. There is a ton of debris from destroyed decks and docks, some half submerged boats and probably some totally submerged boats as well. We are waiting for company to come in with underwater equipment to survey canals, locate submerged obstacles and mark with buoys for later retrieval. We even have boats thrown up on vacant waterfront lots...seems water came up [with waves] at least a few feet above the bulkhead caps.....some major erosion and debris left behind. |

| Saw a little bit of floating debris in P.I. main channel, very little in the backyard. |

There's small floating pieces gathering in the icw and a ton or two of dead grass. I only went to the high lines and back. To much stuff to go south. Did see many drum with a few reds following along. They'd eat a gulp before it was covered in grass.Tide is low and will float more stuff when it returns. Be careful. _________________ Adrift on the Mother Lagoon |

A few pics from the Isles. I had security cameras up until power went out about a couple of hours from landfall. I has a Heron on my deck watching out for things right up until they quit. I hope he made it.
