Models are now bringing Harvey into the Bay of Campeche and have been bending him to the NW after that. This might be the one that gets us. We are overdue.

Take that back - not now. So many fish, so little time. And I am with you about Rush.

These have been known to bring more than rain.

Combined capacity of the 2 reservoirs was at 44.1%, as of this morning. (Thank you Mr. Mensa Mayor and your "Hey, we better use this water instead of allowing it to evaporate - open up them sprinkler taps!!! - but that's a different story for a different day) - just 4.1% more (which is about ~41 days) and ALL bay and estuary pass-throughs will cease. Those pass-throughs are for the fish and critters, so if you like fish...... well, you get the idea.

Voluntary Water Restrictions, in the middle of an arid region, that straddles what was once called the 'Wild Horse Desert'!?!?! What could possibly go wrong [double face-palm].

We actually could use a tropical system.

Well, since we just got an offer on our beach rental that ups the likelihood of a direct hit. Anyone want to pay money for us to take it off the market😃
Really, though, the ecosystem is designed to get one periodically. It's just a bummer when it happens.

Great - the mojo worked. I gave it the evil eye on the late night weather report a day or two ago.

As of this afternoon it's showing signs of reorganizing. The next 2 days will tell.
