The eye is almost past corpus. Me and the wife our 2 Chows and 5 cats are fine. Watch out my friends in Rockport turning it over to you. Stay safe. IMS
We have no power. Don't know when it will be back on. As soon as I can I will fire up the generator. Cheers my friends.

Sorry to say, you are nowhere near close to done. It will be a couple more hours there in the Bluff. Hurricane force winds should be hitting there soon.
The Packery Channel weather station is showing 4.73 feet of surge at this time. Stay safe out there.

Great to learn Stan. Let us know when you get power back. I suspect the upper Laguna Madre will not get the storm surge those area further north will, due to the direction of the wind. This should at least be true until the wind lets up?

Good to hear. That rig boat (Gulf Justice)the CG pulled the crew off of appears to be stranded on the Mansfield jetty. There is a work boat leaving out of PA too.

It's amazing to me how many ships are offshore up around Houston.

As soon as it gets light out side I will post some pics . I'm sure we can't get out do to tidal flooding. After the eye went by things slowed down. I'm glad I built well. Living on the generator this morning having coffee fans going. However we do have to live primitive when it comes to lighting the gas cook top. We have to use a match.

Minimal damage, not flooded out. Tides haves been higher. I bet the tides didn't come up 3 ft here . Laguna shores passable. May be debri on road. Not sure. Clean up begins as soon as it stops raining.
