Does anyone have any suggestions on a reasonably priced place to replace the axle on my aluminum trailer. I am also looking for someone to replace some seat covers on the boat. Nothing fancy just plain covers for a Dargel Skout.

Thanks in advance,

Robby

In Rockport there is Sunkissed Graphics/Terry's Marina. I know they can redo the seat covers

As said before, Charlie's trailer repair is probably the most reasonable.
Really helps if the boat isn't on it too. If it's a torsion axle they're the easiest but cost more. The best way I found to get those is take the drive to Seadrift and buy one from Coastline trailer. No shipping, no waiting.
For the cushions, see Margie. Can't remember name of business, but she's next door to Bluestreak. Quality materials, fantastic work.

Took mine to Charlie's last year and he changed mine in one day with boat on trailer. Price was fair and service was first class.

Yes, Mike at Expert Welding on Ayers does great work, is fast, and very reasonable. He doesn't take the boat off of the trailer though, so you may need to take him an empty trailer, if the repair requires that the boat be off.

I appreciate the input. I am selling my boat to buy a new one. I am going to try and sell as is. Boat and motor are in great shape but could use some work on the stuff mentioned above.
