Hello everyone I know its been awhile since I have posted on here not because I haven't fishing just lazy I guess and the fact that photo bucket sucks now a days. I have been posting on my FB page however. We went out this morning me and my good neighbor Darrel down near Pure Oil and the bite was good. 4 of the reds were in the 26-27 inch range and the little one was 201/2 could of had 6 but he hooked out after a good battle. The trout were 16 inchers. Almost all of them were caught on topwaters in 1-3 feet of crystal clear water.
I was using the skitter walker in a trout pattern I think Darrel was using a mullet or something. Caught a couple on pumpkin seed and Darrel was using tequila gold both plastics. We quit around 11am as my arm was wore out from fighting the red monsters. the water was awesome bait was scatterd winds were 13-16 mph. Anyway that's my report for today hope you enjoy it. Speaking of Photobucket .... they caught me by surprise too. So I posted about it on 2cool and found that besides facebook a lot of folks were now using imgur.com/ or imageshack.us/

nice job on the fish Stan. Was wondering where you have been. Haven't heard any reports lately. I have not been posting much lately either because Photobucket won't let me and Tiny pics keep turning my pictures around. Need to figure something out.

Was a great morning to get out, nice breeze, clean water, not so hot with the cloud cover, early topwater action, and some good fish in the box. What more could you ask for? Really enjoyed, thanks Stan.

The last one that spit the hook would have been bigger if not oversized it almost spooled me well maybe 3/4s it was a good battle. But it funny that they are very close to each other in size. I want to go tomorrow but I may be going to look at a couple places up around Schulenberg. Hopefully moma won't feel like going.
