Fish the Rio Grande yesterday in the water the starting to clear up nicely. Was throwing a brown mepps spinner and picked up his 18 inch rainbow trout.

After releasing it I work my way down the river and picked up five more rainbows and four brown trout. All of those were stock size fish of about 12". Afterward went to a local brew pub and have some Brews wings and burgers. Then continued on to the Taos Plaza and listen to a free concert and dance the night away along with all the other Taos hippies from the sixties.

This is where I was fishing.

Very nice!

Looks like the crowds are unbearable - Ha Was there anyone else in sight?

I'm hopeful to wrangle a weekend cabin trip "down south" about a week away.

I do believe that you have an altitude attitude. Keep chilling and we will keep it hot, hot, hot.

There was one other local fishermen there and he wasn't catching anything. He looked at my Texas plates and told me it was just newbie luck. He really freaked out when I released the fish back in the river. The look on his face looked like he wanted to cry. Lol
